The moon represents our inner world, our hidden emotions, desires, our shadow-self, fears/worries and our dreams. It represents our feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past and our yin or feminine goddess archetype. The moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence.
The Full Moon is a great time to “moon bathe”…yes “moon bathe”! Go head try it its refreshing. Sit under the light of the moon & meditate. As you breathe-in allow the moon to warm your Heart & expand the beauty of the present moment and as you breathe-out let the light of the moon transmute that which you wish to release. The intense, healing and purifying moonbeam deeply activates energy, bringing dramatic shifts, renewed trust, sacred & fated soul-connections & accelerates major change.
Old cycles are ending, toxic chapters will close, and new beginnings will fill the space. Have faith & patience with the process while it beautifully unfolds.
If a hot August afternoon has overheated you, and withered your strength, cool off with a refreshing glass of Cucumber Pear Juice. It will cool and clean the digestive tract, and help pacify fiery digestive issues like heartburn or acid indigestion, and rejuvenate you. Pears are ripe and ready to be enjoyed in August. Their demulcent qualities soothe and coat an inflamed digestive tract. A tall glass of this fresh juice will freshen the mind too, adding a splash of cool to a heated mood.

Hold the Ice!
How many of you make the common mistake of adding ice to your drinks? Ayurveda recommends avoiding cold drinks at meals and ice cold foods in general. This is like putting cold water on the burning logs (your digestive fires).
Iced water, normally served at restaurants, extinguishes the digestive fire. Even juice or milk right out of the refrigerator is too cold for the digestion. Juice should be taken at room temperature and water without ice.
Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC knows, once you get into this habit of drinking beverages at room temperature you will notice a dramatic improvement in your digestion and the way your body feels during and after the meal.
Cold drinks and foods mixed with warm cooked foods can cause stomach cramps, bloating and general discomfort in the stomach area.
So…Hold the Ice!

Sedona is Calling You ~
Reiki Master Marleen Wood will offer classes in Level 1 of Usui Reiki training.
Reiki is a Japanese hands-on healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki means Universal Life Energy, the energy that sustains all life. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
First Degree Reiki Training (two days January 11 & 12, 2020 must attend both days)
We will capture the essence of Reiki. You will hear the history of Reiki and learn about applications of Reiki, harnessing and protecting your energy. You will learn how to do a complete Reiki treatment using hand positions and intuition. You will learn the five precepts of Reiki and practice specific Japanese meditation techniques. You will experience attunements at a local energy vortex, so that you may begin practicing Reiki on yourself and others, with understanding and clarity. You leave class with a certificate, fully trained to do Reiki on yourself, loved ones and friends, plants and animals.
We recommend a 30-day practice period between learning each level of Reiki training, so that the student may gain experience and confidence before progressing to the next level.
*Must have a minimum of 6 people to run the class
