Come join Katie Vandi at Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC for a demonstration of Mediumship. This is a gallery style event in which Katie will bridge the gap connecting you to your loved ones in heaven.

Expect to receive healing, comfort, and a knowing that our loved ones are still very much a part of our lives. All readings are conducted with love, gentleness, and compassion for all involved.

For this larger group reading please know that not everyone may receive a reading. However, it is Katie’s intention that everyone who attends witnesses the healing power of spirit and is able to see that life and love continue on after we depart from the physical world

Katie Vandi is a Medium, Holistic Registered Nurse and Spiritual Teacher. It was eleven years ago that Katie’s journey into Mediumship began and has since turned into a career that she’s incredibly grateful for. Katie has also studied Behavioral Kinesiology and flower essences along with several other healing modalities. These modalities are incorporated into Katie’s sessions giving a unique healing experience, marrying the mind, body, and soul. It is Katie’s intention that all her work is done with the highest light and healing possible for all involved, including those in spirit. It is an honor and a privilege for her to serve the world of spirit and bridge the gap between this world and the next.

Got Spices?

Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC knows most spices enhance digestion,
and that’s one of the reasons spices are revered in Ayurvedic cuisine. Not only do they help enhance digestion, but they also help remove accumulated ama (toxins), so they are valuable additions to your daily diet.

Turmeric, cumin, coriander, fennel, mint, black pepper, dried powdered ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and cayenne are among the Ayurvedic spices that enhance digestion and metabolism, cleanse ama (toxins) from the body and help prevent digestive distress such as gas and bloating.

One of our favorite breakfast recipes using a few of the above spices…

Nutty Quick Oats

1 cup quick oats, unsalted

1 tablespoon raisins, unsweetened 

1 tablespoon dried, fruit-sweetened cranberries, chopped

1 tablespoon coconut, shredded, unsweetened

2 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon cardamom

1 1/2 cups water, boiled

1 teaspoon raw honey

3 tablespoons plain yogurt, unsweetened (optional)

In a serving bowl combine the Oates, raisins, cranberries, coconut, almonds, cinnamon and cardamom.  Add the boiling water to desired consistency and stir; let sit for 1 minute.  The oats will absorb the water and become a thick porridge consistency.  Adjust the water until you achieve the consistency you desire.   *Top with the yogurt and honey (optional)

Sore throat? Dry cough?

Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC on the common Sore Throat and dry cough through the lens of #Ayurveda:

One of the simplest and most effective remedies for managing a sore throat is gargling. Therefore, consider gargling with:

1 cup of hot water [not too hot that it burns] mixed with
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric and
1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Or

THROAT-SOOTHING HERBAL TEA:
Ginger [2 parts]-
Cinnamon [2 parts]
Licorice [3 parts]
Honey (organic)

Honey is a natural home remedy for a dry cough, as it soothes the irritated tissue lining at the back of the throat. Depending on the severity of the cough, you can take a tablespoon of honey one to three times a day.

Make your own #Ayurvedic Mask by using ingredients that are safe to eat…honey, cucumber, almonds, milk, rose water, yogurt and lemon to name a few.

Try our favorite recipe below:

Turmeric Mask:
• 2 tablespoons chickpea flour
• 1/4 teaspoon Triphala powder
• 1/8 teaspoon Turmeric
• 1/4 teaspoon of dried Neem or mint leaves (if using fresh leaves – use 1/2 tablespoon of mashed leaves and mix into your paste)
Mix the above ingredients into a paste and apply to the skin 1-2 times per week for 5-10 minutes, and rinse.
